The village recedes in the central point of the White Island of Ibiza making it easily accessible to all. With its rustic and authentic Spanish charm it remains a poplar place for people to come and soak up the many cultural offerings that Santa Gertrudis has.

Recharge at Wild Beets
A BOTANICAL RESTAURANT. No labels, no rules, no dogma. We are raw, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, plant-based… all of those things. But we don’t align with any one style, and we don’t believe in fads or gimmicks. We believe that each body needs fresh food made with awareness.
Wild Beets is the culmination of a lifetime of passion for good, healthy, nourishment. Food should energise and support body and mind without ever sacrificing on taste or enjoyment. We created a space where people can enjoy food that is not only really good for them but also really tasty.
Experience and learn Quantum Yoga with Lara Baumann
Based in a private setting just outside of the village of Santa Getrudis you will discover Lara Baumann.
Lara offers both private and group classes teaching the Quantum Method of Yoga to all levels of students.
Her powerful relationship with yoga and a strong interest in Eastern philosophy is the result of her upbringing in India and Japan, which subsequently led her to complete an MA in Religious Studies at SOAS, University of London.
As an apprentice, she has studied with Sri K Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, as well as BKS Iyengar in Pune. In May ’05 Lara took the Jivamukti 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training, and in July ’09 she completed the 500-hour certificate with Tripsichore. Her main teachers are Edward Clark, Danny Paradise and Clive Sheridan.
Our little slice of Italy, Bottega Il Buco
Bottega il Buco is the latest extension of Donna Lennard’s acclaimed NYC restaurants, il Buco and Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria in NoHo, inspired by and created with her original Bond Street partner, Alberto Avalle of Umbria. The team comes full circle with this picturesque jewel in the heart of Santa Gertrudis, Ibiza, a rustic setting teaming with delicious gourmet products.
Bottega shares the il Buco philosophy of sourcing the best ingredients both locally and in Avalle’s native Italy. An ancient grain Sicilian focaccia is the staple of Bottega with a variety of toppings that change with the seasons. With a no fire kitchen, the focus is on salumi, cheeses, and tinned fish from the Iberian Peninsula and Italy, as well as beautiful fresh salads, ceviches and crudo of the local catch.
